Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-20°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Execute inventory control procedures using WMS technology
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for perishable goods
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and sanitation checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic understanding of perishable goods handling standards
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends with premium pay
