Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled equipment and maintain cold storage facilities at optimal conditions (0°F to 32°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using company-provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and organize inventory in cold environments following FIFO protocols
- Conduct daily safety checks on refrigeration units and warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital tracking systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety standards in cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided by employer)
