Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°F to 32°F environments
- Maintain precise temperature logs and monitor cold storage equipment
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Inspect and package perishable goods according to HACCP standards
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation protocols and stock rotation procedures
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements in cold zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong attention to detail in temperature-sensitive environments
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
