Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Safely load/unload pallets of perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory audits and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate refrigeration equipment and report maintenance issues
- Prepare shipments with proper cold-chain packaging and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated logistics
- OSHA Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and thermodynamics
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
- WMS or inventory software experience preferred
