Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products within -10°F to 40°F zones
- Inspect and maintain product integrity during loading/unloading procedures
- Execute inventory management tasks using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Monitor warehouse temperature and humidity controls
- Coordinate cross-functional team for efficient dock operations
- Maintain detailed documentation of product movements
- Participate in monthly safety training and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in sub-freezing conditions
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
