Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks in refrigerated zones
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits with RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with FIFO compliance
- Sanitize equipment and maintain hygiene standards
- Coordinate with quality control team for product inspections
Qualifications
- 6+ months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in subzero conditions
- Basic RF scanner and inventory software proficiency
- OSHA Forklift certification (or ability to pass test)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail in extreme environments
- Availability for overnight/weekend shifts during peak seasons
