Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in -20°F to 40°F environments using digital monitoring systems
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to safely move perishable goods and raw materials
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation protocols and conduct cycle counts with RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA standards for personal protective equipment and sanitation protocols
- Document inventory movements using WMS systems and maintain accurate digital records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Participate in monthly safety audits and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company certification program)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic proficiency with RF scanning devices and warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety protocols
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
