Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments (OSHA certification provided)
- Inspect products for quality compliance and document inventory data
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and safety procedures for cold environments
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of perishable goods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all storage areas
- Participate in quarterly safety audits and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23°C)
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid California driver's license (required for facility transport)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete
