Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated/frozen products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation of cold storage zones
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts with RF scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in 0-10°F environments
- Operate powered industrial equipment after certification training
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment per food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
