Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage zones
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory according to FIFO protocols and safety standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols strictly
- Operate warehouse technology including WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 30°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality essential
