Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 32°F)
- Inspect and maintain refrigeration equipment daily
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports
- Train new associates on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Basic WMS system proficiency
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid Indiana driver's license
