Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage areas
- Accurately receive, store, and organize perishable goods using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately
- Adhere to HACCP safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Load/unload trucks with proper temperature documentation
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces following OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
