Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely handle, palletize, and inventory refrigerated/frozen products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all cold storage operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activity in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour or equivalent safety certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced environments
