Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts in cold environments
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Inspect and sanitize equipment/facilities daily per HACCP standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document temperature logs and safety compliance reports
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic inventory management system experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Preferred: HACCP or food safety certification
