Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in -20°C to 4°C storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment with precision
- Execute inventory rotation (FIFO) and cycle counting procedures
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and verify shipment documentation
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or willingness to complete company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
