Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (-20°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation using WMS systems
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance audits
- Safely load/unload trucks using proper PPE protocols
- Participate in deep cleaning and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
