Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine inventory audits with RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols strictly
- Operate refrigeration equipment and report malfunctions
- Prepare shipments with proper insulation/cooling materials
- Maintain detailed logs for compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in 32°F-45°F environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to 24/7 shift schedule
