Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable inventory
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Enforce strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with proper stacking techniques
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all storage zones
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
