Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, load, unload, and organize temperature-sensitive products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA compliance protocols
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or temperature deviations
- Sanitize storage areas and handling equipment per food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills and inventory management knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
