Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and monitor temperature/humidity controls
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment per HACCP standards
- Implement FIFO inventory management in frozen environments
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold stress prevention
- Document inventory movements in WMS systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
Qualifications
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail in quality control procedures
- OSHA 10 certification or safety training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
