Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 32°F)
- Monitor and document temperature-controlled inventory using WMS systems
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods (meat, dairy, produce)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Load/unload refrigerated trailers with speed and accuracy
- Maintain organized storage zones and FIFO rotation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme cold conditions for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
