Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely handle, palletize, and organize perishable products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation with meticulous record-keeping
- Conduct daily sanitation protocols and equipment maintenance checks
- Operate automated warehouse systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 40°F environment for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper technique
