Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Accurately inventory, rotate, and organize perishable goods using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Document inventory movements and quality control checks via digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics coordination
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units when certified
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-32°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license (for facility transport needs)
