Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move temperature-sensitive products in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Execute inventory control protocols using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions including humidity and temperature logs
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety standards for food handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cold storage workflows
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
