Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using RF scanning technology
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory counts in WMS systems
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods and reject non-compliant items
- Complete daily shift reports and administrative tasks via remote portal
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Train new associates on cold storage procedures and equipment safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for remote reporting tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
