Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions to maintain product integrity
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety standards for refrigerated environments
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing perishable shipments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage and retrieval processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities and inventory counts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory management systems and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
