Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated (-10°F to 32°F) storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement in cold environments
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts using RF scanners
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP protocols for perishable goods
- Load/unload trailers using pallet jacks and maintain organized staging areas
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and shipping/receiving records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 32°F refrigerated environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills and inventory counting experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to complete
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
