Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy using barcode scanning systems in refrigerated zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move frozen/refrigerated products safely
- Adhere to HACCP and FSMA protocols for food safety compliance
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Load/unload trucks with proper cold chain preservation techniques
- Conduct daily sanitation and cleanliness checks in storage areas
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (valid or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to work in 4°C to -18°C environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
