Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and digital systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold-storage equipment safely
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks following HACCP protocols
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels every 2 hours
- Sanitize equipment and facilities daily using approved cleaning agents
- Participate in quarterly safety drills and OSHA compliance training
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments with appropriate PPE
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
