Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and refrigerated transport vehicles safely
- Inspect, load, and unload perishable goods with strict adherence to HACCP protocols
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing inventory
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature records and inventory movement
- Follow OSHA safety standards for cold environments and heavy machinery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility for rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
