Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, within cold storage environments (ranging from -10°F to 40°F).
- Perform accurate inventory counts and manage stock placement in designated temperature zones.
- Load and unload freight safely, adhering to strict weight and safety protocols.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and ensure proper packaging before shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to meet OSHA compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures for extended shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Willingness to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
