Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment including condensers, evaporators, and dock seals
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity levels using digital control systems
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software operation
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
