Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) for various refrigerated zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trailers
- Conduct daily inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Implement HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units and sensors
- Coordinate with quality control team for product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities in real-time
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan Associates)
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
