Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure timely distribution.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock inventory within the cold storage environment, ensuring accurate stock levels and rotation.
- Cold Storage Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the temperature of storage areas to ensure compliance with food safety and safety regulations.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a cold environment.
