Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely handle, palletize, and organize perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and reporting hazards immediately
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA protocols for food safety and workplace safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for forklift operation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system operation
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
