Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for safe cargo movement
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanning technology
- Implement HACCP compliance protocols for food safety
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems
- Coordinate cross-docking operations for perishable goods
- Document temperature logs and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
