Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Execute sanitation protocols and facility maintenance procedures
- Conduct quality inspections of perishable goods upon receipt
- Operate automated inventory management systems
- Comply with OSHA, FDA, and HACCP regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
