Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely handle, palletize, and store temperature-sensitive food/pharmaceutical products
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated inventory systems
- Conduct quality control inspections and reject non-compliant products
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA safety protocols
- Complete digital inventory counts and warehouse management system entries
- Train new hires on cold safety procedures and equipment operation
- Participate in monthly sanitation and deep-cleaning rotations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy (WMS experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
