Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect and record product conditions using warehouse management systems
- Prioritize FIFO inventory rotation and proper stacking protocols
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless cold chain operations
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all tasks
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues
- Support inventory audits and quality control initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (32°F to -10°F)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
