Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero (-10°F to 20°F) environments
- Inspect and maintain refrigeration equipment daily
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Enforce HACCP safety protocols for perishable goods
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Document temperature logs and quality control metrics
- Train new hires on cold safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage/warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in extreme conditions
- Basic RF scanning and inventory software proficiency
- Strong attention to detail in quality control
- Availability for overnight/weekend shifts
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Pre-employment drug screening required
