Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, load, and unload refrigerated trucks with perishable goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Sanitize equipment and work areas following SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Monitor warehouse conditions (temperature, humidity) and report irregularities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
