Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature records for refrigerated and frozen inventory
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in 0-40°F environments
- Inspect and sanitize storage areas following HACCP protocols
- Load/unload shipments using proper stacking techniques
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards in cold conditions
- Assist with inventory rotation using FIFO methods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to early morning shifts
- Willingness to obtain food handler certification
- Team player with strong communication skills
