Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (0°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate ammonia refrigeration systems under supervision
- Perform routine sanitation and pest control inspections
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient dock scheduling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
