Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor temperature-controlled environments to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Inspect and sanitize equipment, facilities, and product packaging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all OSHA and FDA regulations for cold storage facilities
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
