Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain strict temperature/humidity controls in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory with FIFO rotation and WMS system compliance
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Operate refrigerated systems and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and temperature documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols (OSHA standards)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
