Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment to move, store, and organize perishable goods
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring (-10°F to 45°F) and document environmental conditions
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA safety protocols for cold environments
- Perform sanitation duties including blast freezing room cleaning and disinfection
- Coordinate with quality control team on product inspection protocols
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation proficiency
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
