Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain facility cleanliness, including sanitation protocols for food safety
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with team to optimize inventory rotation and minimize waste
- Complete accurate documentation for inventory tracking and quality control
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
- Valid driver's license preferred; forklift certification a plus (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for entire shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
