Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to organize inventory efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections on perishable goods during receiving/shipping
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Complete inventory audits using RF scanning technology
- Rotate stock following FIFO principles to minimize spoilage
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred (equipment training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Reliable transportation to North Houston facility
- Food Handler/Sanitation certification a plus
