Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable inventory
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory counts using warehouse management systems (remote reporting possible)
- Inspect and rotate stock to ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) compliance
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports using digital platforms
- Collaborate with logistics team on shipment scheduling and dispatch coordination
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in cold storage areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with remote work tools (Slack, Google Workspace)
