Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for loading/unloading trucks
- Inspect products for quality compliance and proper packaging
- Organize inventory according to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles
- Adhere to strict food safety and OSHA safety protocols
- Complete accurate inventory logs and warehouse documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
- Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not required
